Event to take place November 11th
WORLDCOB will be hosting six free Corporate Social Responsibility Meetings in Latin America this year. These events bring together organizations, speakers, media, managers, directors of CSR, interested members of the public and, for the first time, universities. A highlight of these events will be CSR Meeting Peru, which is set to take place November 11th in co-sponsorship with The Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (UPC).
The Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (UPC) is a private university which was founded on January 5, 1994 and is located in the city of Lima.
UPC has been a member of Laureate International Universities since 2004, the largest network of private universities in the world. Because of this they are the first global university in Peru. Their aim is to maintain excellence in higher education in order to create competent professionals in the national and international market.
UPC was chosen as the strategic partner for hosting this CSR Meeting due to their academic excellence and high level of social responsibility. As an example, in 2015 UPC was awarded 5 stars – the highest level available – in Academic Teaching, Graduate Employment, Social Responsibility and Inclusion in the QS Stars 2015 Rating.
In addition, the university established “Business Creativity”, a renowned competition that awards business innovation.
We are certain that this partnership will be gratifying not only for both of the sponsors but also for the members of the public that will be part of the CSR Meeting in Peru.
